The Apex is to create more opportunities for young people to get involved in the arts across West Suffolk, with the establishment of a new Youth Creative Board.

Next Thursday (29) will see the first meeting of the board, at The Apex from 4.30pm.  The board will be made up of young people aged between 14-21 who have an interest in live music or the arts.

Cllr Sarah Stamp said: “We are keen to engage and gain input from audiences of all ages and this is a fantastic opportunity for young people from any background to come and have their say and get involved in the arts on a very local basis. It will give young people an exciting – and quite rare – opportunity to gain real live events and programming experience, as well as the opportunity to see more live music at our award winning Apex.”

Anyone interested in finding out more should attend the meeting or contact Tom.Ogden@Westsuffolk.gov.uk the
