GD Estates are delighted to announce that two of their staff members, Sophie Gidney and Louise Howe, have recently passed their qualification in Residential and Property Lettings Management. This brings the total number of staff within the office who hold the MARLA qualification (Member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents) to three.
Tracey Nunn, Director of the family run lettings and property management company based in Bury St Edmunds, said that she was surprised at the number of residential letting landlords who allow unqualified letting agents to handle the management and letting of their properties. She quoted: “would you allow an unqualified electrician to carry out electrical works on your property?” – it is the same with qualified letting agents.
