In the 11th year of the Suffolk Summer Sixes’ fundraising for CLIC Sargent, Colin Houghton, Chairman of Moreton Hall Social Club has added to this year’s fantastic total by emptying the Chairman’s Bottle which contained an astounding £641.

Mr Houghton said of the donation: “It might just seem like odd pennies but thanks to all the members’ contributions, it really adds up to a great donation to help children and young people with cancer ”.
Colin Green, Chairman of the Suffolk Summer Sixes Darts league also contributed to the bottle’s total taking it to £675.

Mr Green said, “The League is extremely proud to be a committed supporter of CLIC Sargent and we are thrilled to have raised so much for them over the last 11 years. We’ve already got some really exciting plans in motion for next year’s tournament!”

Daisy Turner, fundraising manager for Suffolk said; “We are so grateful to Mr Haughton, and to all those who have contributed to the Chairman’s Bottle.  Last year, we provided 67 families with support here in Suffolk, which is why the continued support of the Summer Sixes is so important.”
