At our January meeting we welcomed some new members and toasted in the New Year with our usual Buck’s Fizz or fruit juice. There is a lot going on in 2015 including the resolutions to consider for later in the year so we did our voting on these. Our talk was from PC Lawrence Allen who leads the local Safer Neighbourhood Team. We heard about how the PCSOs work and provide our frontline of contact for non-urgent community matters or concerns. Various local issues were aired but the SNT are aware of them and priorities for addressing these are regularly reviewed. The talk was very interesting and relating to local issues made it really relevant to us all!Happy New Year to everyone!
