Whether you’re an animal lover or a petrol head, a fan of craft or a thrill seeker, a shopaholic or a foodie, visit the beautiful rural setting of Ampton point-to-point racecourse near Bury St Edmunds on Sunday 12th May for a fun-filled day in the great outdoors!

Special attractions this year will include wood carvers in action, farriers at work, birds of prey on the wing, terriers racing and the infamous ‘Sheep Road Show’, with ‘The Bolddog Lings FMX Display Team’ in the grand ring to wow you with their death-defying motorcycle stunts.

As always the Food Hall will be full of tempting treats, and the Art and Craft Marquee packed with unique creations. Animals will be on parade, with cattle, sheep and pig classes, and the dedicated equine area will be busy with jumping, carriage and show classes.

And if you dare, the fun fair will be there!
Speaking about this year’s show chairman of The South Suffolk Agricultural Association Ltd, Jim Mann, advises that “after introducing live music in the picnic area last year, we are pleased to be continuing this with a full and varied line-up of local artists from Silverbands to choirs and solo-singers, to accompany spectators as they sit and take in the show atmosphere whilst enjoying their refreshment.”

If you love country living, you’ll love The South Suffolk Show! Tickets are available on the gate from 8:30am, with advance purchase discounted tickets available through selected ticket retailers or via the website www.southsuffolkshow.co.uk.
