Like most of Great Britain, we’ve been obsessed with the Rio Olympics. And words cannot describe how proud we’ve been of Team GB, who have performed amazingly, it’s such an inspiration to younger generations.

But one young man really caught our eye – swimmer, Chris Walker-Hebborn.

Many moons ago, the MHD followed and reported on the early career of Chris, who was Moreton Hall based at the time. Little did we know he’d go on to win an incredible Silver medal as part of the Team GB 4x100m individual medley quartet in Rio.

We followed Chris throughout 2007, when he was just 17 and he was already showing signs of becoming a name to watch.

It just goes to show that with some determination and a dream, you can achieve your goals.

Congratulations to Chris and his team!
