Hello people of bury! Hope you are all good? Enjoy reading this month’s page! Molly xx

Bowen

Growing up you can have all sorts of things going on in your body. You might have growing pains, bad hay fever or simply have worries running through your mind. If this sound like what’s going on with you, I can highly recommend Bowen Treatment. This sounded quite scary at first because I was just like “Why am I seeing and talking to a random stranger?” I saw a lady called Jo Wortely. When I go to see her she just gives me a massage, depending on what is wrong she massages and moves different parts of my body. Some of the moves make me giggle but it always helps! You can contact Jo on 01284 336114 for both adult and children’s therapy.

Sour Challenge

Recently I have been going into Aunty Pam’s Sweet Shop and I like getting the raspberry and cherry super sour sweets. They are that sour they come with a warning on the jar. My warning is don’t eat too many in one day or your tongue will feel and look like you have tissue’s in your mouth! I accidently had too many in one day and I had that! Trust me it is not nice. So I came up with this idea and said to my Nan ‘Would you like a sweet’? She replied ‘Go on then’ so I gave her one and her face was like ahhhhh. It was so funny that I have decided to run a competition. The competition is to find the funniest sour face! You need to send me a picture of someone pulling a sour face and the best one will win a bag of sour sweets which I will buy and give to you. Send all entries to mollyh2004@outlook.com. I hope they make me laugh!

WOW-Women On Wheels

So, last month I wrote about doing a sponsored bike ride and I said I’d let you know how I got on. My mum and I said we would definitely do 5 miles but that we wanted to try to go further. Guess how far we went … done drum roll please…… 20 miles! Our great friend Amelia told us that we got cake at 10 miles so we said, ‘oh we are definitely doing 10 miles’, but what a fibber she was, cake was really at 16 miles! So that meant we had to bike even further to get to cake, but it was well worth it when we got there. Thank you to all family and friends who sponsored us, we are still collecting money in, but so far we have raised over £150 for St Nicholas Hospice!
