The Risbygate Sports Club offer an excellent range of facilities for a number of sports.
For Indoor Bowls they have four rinks which ensure all year round play in the Club. They offer in-house leagues (ladies, mens and mixed) as well as external competitions. Regular ‘friendship’ and other play is available as well as the opportunity for groups to book the rinks for social and competitive play.
For Outdoor Bowls they pride themselves with one of the best greens in the County, in a beautiful setting. There are 6 high quality rinks and we offer club sessions plus internal and external leagues. The Suffolk County regularly take the opportunity of staging prestigious county games on their rinks.
The Club have four all weather Tennis Courts, two of which are floodlit. They offer match play in both winter and summer leagues for all levels, and for all ages. They have a vibrant coaching structure for both juniors and adults. There is ample opportunity to play. There’s a booking system for for club sessions you can just turn up and play.
Petanque is popular in the Club for the long, lazy summer evenings. They host inter-club matches and members play in a club league. The social club is excellent for meeting up with friends or for a quiet drink after you have used any of the facilities. They have a room for hire too with a bar and kitchen if required, so if you are planning a get together this year, give them a call to arrange.
Social, Internal and External League play available as preferred.
Coaching is available for all sports and the club welcomes new members who can, if they wish, come and try out the sport if they have no experience. At various times of the year they hold Open Days.
Subscription levels are very competitive and offer good value for money and with discounts when joining more than one section.
