You can Make A Difference in your community this year by Volunteering with Papworth Trust…
Even in the strongest communities, disabled and older people can find themselves without the support they need.
Local charity Papworth Trust runs a number of essential services for disabled people, and their families and carers, in Bury St Edmunds. This includes work-based training for adults with mental ill-health, support to help people find employment, and free advice and guidance on disability
related issues.
But now we need your help – we are looking for volunteers to support our services. By joining us you will help us to make a real difference to people’s lives.
We have a range of opportunities available including: being part of our reception and administration teams, driving, I.T. tutoring, embroidery, shop assistants, and fundraising.
Volunteering is an excellent way to meet new people in your area and gain some experience. Try something new this year and help others in your community while doing it.
Most of our roles require a commitment of at least 4 hours every week, but don’t necessarily require any previous experience or special skills.
